School Playworker required in Silverdale, Newcastle-Under-Lyme

7.30am - 8.40am and 3.15pm - 5.00pm

September start

The Supply Register are proud to be working as a managed service on behalf of St Luke's C of E Primary School. We are working with them to recruit a School Playworker to start in September 2024. They are looking for eager and energetic individuals with a positive work ethic to join their wraparound provision. 

You will work alongside other staff to provide a stimulating learning environment before and after school. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a primary school setting and will hold a relevant childcare qualification.

Responsibilties

  • Supervising and engaging with children through play and conversation.
  • Setting up and leading fun and stimulating activites.
  • Safeguarding and ensuring children's wellbeing and safety at all times.
  • Working as part of a team to create a safe, welcoming and engaging environment.
  • Any other reasonable duties as requested.

Requirements

  • Recent and relevant experience in a primary school setting.
  • Hold a relevant childcare qualification.
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application.
  • Provide a minimum of two professional references.
