Sales Specification Consultant

Our client is a high-end lighting design company who are recruiting an experienced Specification Sales focused candidate within the high-end lighting market. Within this role you will identify and develop new clients designed to increase revenue while managing compliance, profitability, and revenue channel development.

  • Generate revenue from new business but to build and maximise existing accounts using the support of warm leads generated by the brand, marketing, and events.
  • Proven understanding of the requirements of the high-end residential and hospitality industry.
  • The company are keen to pursue and excel in hospitality so if you can collaborate with architects, interior designers, and high-end property developers, then you’re already halfway there.
  • Either you have your own portfolio of accounts/relationships from relevant sectors to leverage, or the experience to build this.
  • Your portfolio will promote the companies’ services and products, as well as our reputation.
  • Through regular in-person interaction with current and prospective clients you will ensure that the brand and reputation remain strong.
  • You will provide a unique, value-added, first-class customer XP, guiding the customer as appropriate.
  • Project stakeholder management is necessary within this role.

  • Communicate the technical needs of each program effectively to clients and internal partners.
  • Ability to train and develop any stakeholder.
  • Review quotes to ensure speedy conversion.
  • Understand product offerings, and servicing divisions and communicate the customer's needs cross functionally.
  • Partner closely with operations and Design Team part of a client services team to maximise client satisfaction, ensure quality event delivery and event profitability.

Salary/Benefits Package

£40,000 - £60,000 - dependant on experience + bonus

Holiday - 22 days + bank holidays rising to 25 days with service, additional 3 days at Christmas
