The Company
Our retained client is a market leading supplier of premium products and components to independent kitchen retailers. Due to continued growth of the business (100% in 5 years) they are seeking to appoint a new Area Sales Manager to look after the UK NW region for their retail clients which are predominantly independent kitchen retailers. 

Responsibilities include:-
  • Increase sales and profitable growth in line with Company targets
  • Support in-direct contracts via trusted regional partners
  • Close under-performing outlets whilst maintaining appropriate level of geographic presence
  • Identify and fill geographical gaps in the area with commercially viable outlets/customers
  • Build and maintain long term, productive working relationships with customer base
  • Regular and objective based retail customer visits (new and potential customers)
  • Use customer relationship management system to maintain up to date and accurate customer account information
  • Develop and maintain accurate reporting
  • Maintain relationships with key trading partners


The Person
  • Kitchen market Knowledge
  • Previously worked as an ASM or close variant in an external position
  • Proven record of accomplishment of successful, profitable sales
  • Prove success in managing a sales area selling to kitchen retailers
  • Demonstrate high achievement own success
  • Effective time and account management skills
  • Able to prioritize time and investment opportunities
  • IT literate, PowerPoint, Excel and Word including capacity
  • Full driving license


The Rewards
  • Salary to £50,000
  • Hybrid Company Car
  • Bonus ( OTE £70-100k)
  • Pension
