Compass Corporate services are proud to be working with a leading independent Social Care Provider to recruit a Sales Ledger & Credit Control Manager based in Long Bennington, Newark. Our client is an established family led business and have provided high quality supported living services for nearly 30 years and deliver exceptional support to people diagnosed with a learning or physical disability, acquired brain injury, autism or a mental illness. This is an exciting time to join there high growth organisation in the Social Care sector and they are seeking a Sales Ledger & Credit Control Manager to join there Finance team.

The Role
The successful candidate will report directly to the Group Financial Controller and You will be reporting to a passionate and established Group Financial Controller who is looking to take the Team to the next level whilst you strive for excellence together. The successful applicant will Act as a business partner and maintain good relationships with the operational division by providing leadership and direction on credit related issues, whilst appreciating the differences between the two divisions. Managing a small team in a fast-paced environment with insight to motivate, empower and upskill.

Requirements
Extensive managerial experience
Highly organised and ability to guide team members with priorities of tasks
Clear understanding of the revenue recognition process, including the relationship between sales ledger, credit control, billing and revenue accruals.
Ability to work under pressure with a proactive approach and an inherent ability to achieve.
IT literate including finance system, Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Sage.
Experience of ongoing process improvement identification and implementation

Location
The role is full time and hybrid working - 3 days in the office minimum and based In Long Bennington, Newark
