A fulfilling and progressive opportunity has arisen for a motivated Sales Engineer to join an international electronic solutions manufacturer.

About the company:

A well-established international business. They specialise in:

  • Electronic and electrical products into the aerospace, industrial and other industries.
  • Interconnect systems, cables and associated products.

Sales Engineer Duties & Responsibilities:

  • The Sales Engineer will be responsible for increasing presence in both new and existing accounts, developing client relationships and identifying business opportunities.
  • Understanding customers’ needs, and selling with a technical solution led approach.
  • Presenting and demonstrating products and solutions.
  • Managing and growing the territory.
  • Attending client meetings, to build relationships, communicate technical solutions and negotiate.
  • Maintaining market and competitor knowledge, building a full sales pipeline.

Sales Engineer Experience & Skills needed:

  • Experience selling interconnect or electronic solutions.
  • Technically aware, able to communicate technical products to clients, and excellent communication skills.
  • A proactive sales approach.
  • Excellent negotiating and relationship building skills.
  • Able to work from full autonomy, and manage own diary.

In return:

  • Basic salary DOE circa £65k.
  • Uncapped commission- circa 50% of annual salary.
