Sales Engineer
My client is a bespoke manufacturer of engineering products, supplying to various sectors around the globe including manufacturing, rail and construction.
Due to growth and the rapid increase of sales recently my client is now looking for an Area Sales Engineer to manage existing clients whilst sourcing potential new business in a designated area and increase the areas value. With my client supplying into such a large variety of sectors this role is an open opportunity for the right person to be a huge success.
Field Sales Engineer
Area covered – Newcastle to South Scotland
£28,000 - £32,000 DOE, company car, fuel card, phone, laptop and 30 holidays inc Bank Holidays.
This role does not require much, if any nights away, so will provide work life balance
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Establish new sales in designated area.
- Build long standing relationships with clients.
- Establish what clients what and need. Then present the best options.
- Continue good relationships with existing customers.
- Grow existing customers revenue where possible.
- Liaise with internal sales and engineering staff within Head Office.
- Provide a professional service at all times.
To apply you MUST have or hold:
- A basic understanding of engineering – heavy plant, mechanical, automotive.
- Be energetic and enthusiastic to learn.
- Ideally 2 years sales experience but not essential.
- Have an understanding of the sales process is a benefit.
- Strong communication skills both verbally and written.
- Comfortable with IT.
- UK Driving license.
This is an opportunity for a driven individual from an engineering background to take a step into a sales environment and will be always supported by seniors with a vast amount of training too.
