Role Description:

Bridge Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Sales and Marketing Manager to join the Team of one of our clients, a family run cleaning services provider which has experienced significant growth since it was established over 50 years ago, with an annual turnover of in excess of £28m. Our client prides itself on its exceptional standards, trusted relationships and traditional values. As Sales and Marketing Manager, you will participate in bid writing, as well as being involved in the BD and ESG Teams. The ideal Sales and Marketing Manager will have proven experience in a previous sales/marketing role with a particular focus on bid writing and creation, along with FM knowledge, preferably in the cleaning sector. Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the end-to-end process of preparing and submitting bids for various projects

  • Thorough understanding of client requirements, project specifications and industry standards

  • Collaborate with the Business Development teams to gather necessary information, ensuring that bids are not only accurate but also aligned with the specific needs and expectations of clients

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate relevant insights into bid proposals, positioning the company as a competitive and innovative choice for potential clients

  • Be a creative force, driving the development of engaging and compelling content, using newsletters, promotional materials and various collateral aimed at capturing the attention of the target audience

  • Understand the unique selling propositions of products/services and translate them into persuasive messaging

  • Utilising both written and visual elements, the Sales and Marketing Manager will create content that resonates with the audience, builds brand awareness and ultimately drives customer engagement

  • Create content for newsletters, ensuring alignment with the Head of Departments, creating and designing the final draft

  • Craft compelling narratives and collaborate on design elements

  • Assist with the design and creation of new documents and templates, using specialist software where applicable

  • Investigate and assist with improvements to brand promotion and marketing through the use of images, photography, video creation etc.

  • Manage and optimise HubSpot to track leads, analyse campaign performance, and enhance customer engagement. Create and execute mail shots to prospective clients using HubSpot

  • Review and manage Tender Portals and complete any online portal opportunities in collaboration with business, in addition to managing social media

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales and marketing roles, with a focus on bid writing and content creation

  • Proficient in using Adobe InDesign for design purposes

  • Experience in managing HubSpot or similar CRM platforms

  • Knowledge of facilities management, preferably in the cleaning sector

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong project management abilities

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines

  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Creativity, a deep understanding of the industry, and a knack for storytelling will be essential in delivering content that sets the company apart
