Administrator - Safer Roads Unit

  • Job Type: Full-time 3 month temporary
  • Location: Hutton, Preston
  • Pay Rate: £12.00 per hour

We are looking for an administrator to provide professional, efficient, and effective administrative support in relation to non-recordable motoring offences. The role is crucial in promoting road safety and reducing casualties on Lancashire’s roads, as well as ensuring offenders are brought to justice when necessary.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Work in a multifunctional team to deliver administrative processes.
  • Provide advice and guidance on traffic offence reports, fixed penalties, camera enforcement notices, and diversionary courses.
  • Prepare files for prosecution within agreed standards and legislative timeframes.
  • Respond to complaints and general enquiries in a professional and timely manner.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in an administrative role within a busy environment dealing with confidential information.
  • Ability to work to a high standard with minimal supervision, organising and prioritising own workload.
  • Experience of producing accurate written information with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Experience of inputting, updating, and maintaining computerised systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Experience of using Microsoft Software applications including Outlook and Word.
