Job Description

We’re looking for a highly motivated RPA Developer to join our IT team in Milton Keynes. You will build, troubleshoot and support automation processes within Blue Prism Cloud across the various business areas inside Connells Group.

This is a hybrid role with one day a week in our Milton Keynes office.

About the Team

The IT Solutions & Development team develops and maintains business applications, websites and reporting for all business units and subsidiaries across Connells Group.

IT Solutions & Development comprises of the following key areas:
  • Application Development
  • Web Development
  • Development Architecture & Solutions
  • Robotic Process Automation (RPA)


Key responsibilities of the RPA Developer:
  • Efficiently build instructions to automate business workflows
  • Support new and existing automation processes
  • Re-engineer processes to improve process efficiency
  • Identify automation opportunities, including where process change would increase automation potential, and define RPA value proposition
  • Work with detailed process description documentation to deliver process automations
  • Identify opportunities to design & build common, reusable objects
  • Co-ordinate and carry out user acceptance testing
  • Support the project management of changes into the production environment


Experience & skills required to be successful as a RPA Developer:

Essential
  • Developing RPA processes
  • Familiarity with RPA development platforms, such as Blue Prism Cloud
  • Ability to think analytically to view requirements with clear and logical thinking
  • Willingness to learn less-familiar RPA areas
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Desirable
  • Analysing RPA processes
  • Documenting business processes in detail
  • Qualification in Business or Process Analysis, or in RPA development
  • Proficient in using workflow applications
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders
  • Project management skills
