Retail Concession Manager Position Overview

My client based in Newbury is currently looking for a Retail Concession Manager to run their small butcher's unit and gives you a real opportunity to make it your own. This role will be alongside the butcher who takes responsible for getting the product ready to sell. You will need to have a retail background and be confident in selling products to customers as well as the ability to be able to upsell. You will be responsible for:

  • Sorting the shop layout
  • Basic stock management
  • Occasionally helping to prepare products (put into packaging)
  • Sell and upsell products

Retail Concession Manager Position Requirements

  • Experience in a retail environment
  • Happy with working around raw meat
  • Driving license is desirable due to the location
  • Customer facing sales experience
  • Proactive on speaking and dealing with customers

Retail Concession Manager Position Remuneration

  • Starting salary at £27,500 + profit share scheme, which will increase
  • Autonomy on days worked, Saturdays are essential though
  • Full benefits to be discussed
