What will you be doing?

As a retail supervisor, store manager or area manager, you'll know retail is a dynamic and fast-paced sector. Our high streets are changing. You've worked your way up and you know this industry inside out. But now it's time for a change: to escape the shop floor and weekend working. To pass on your skills and experience in a way that helps the next generation of talent to not only do a great job but build a career. And to do it in a way that also gives you a more flexible way of working, supported career development and the qualifications your experience deserves.

Once you have passed their bespoke training you will oversee retail learners in the Crawley to Eastbourne area delivering the apprenticeship standard. You will visit them at their flagship stores or remotely communicate with them. Travel is covered.

What will you bring to the role?

It's most likely you've got good experience of working in retail at management or supervisor level. Qualifications aren't as important as understanding the retail world.

In general, they look for:

  • Experience of working in high demand environments, to targets and tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and self-motivation skills
  • GCSEs English and Maths (C or above or key skills equivalent).
  • Experience of working autonomously

My client is offering:

Mileage is covered

£28,050 starting salary, once qualified it increases to £30,000

25 days' holiday rising with service and your birthday off
