Restructuring and Insolvency Associate

The Restructuring and Insolvency team at this international law firm are seeking an experienced Solicitor/Associate with approximately 2-5 years of post-qualification experience.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate proficiency in handling contentious and/or transactional restructuring and insolvency matters, often within strict deadlines.

About the Department:

• The team offers practical, specialized advice to various stakeholders in restructuring and insolvency. This is including practitioners, businesses, individuals, directors, and lenders, covering both contentious and non-contentious aspects.
• The team advises on transactional (pre-packs, administrations, CVAs, restructuring plans, cross-border restructurings), contentious (actions involving former directors and antecedent transactions), enforcement, and general advisory matters.

Preferred qualifications and qualities include:

• Capacity to manage cases independently and a solid grasp of risk management issues
• Teamwork skills with an emphasis on training and motivation
• Strong client care and quality assurance abilities
• Proficient drafting and advocacy skills
• Outstanding academic credentials
• Effective organizational skills, capable of managing multiple deadlines
• Sound technical legal knowledge in core R&I areas
• Understanding and application of financial management skills
• Effective management and supervision, particularly in mentoring junior team members.
