Residential Lettings - Property Manager - Basingstoke - 53319

A local independent firm with a number of branches locally requires a Property Manager to work in their Basingstoke branch.

Working within a friendly and established team, you will be managing a portfolio of around 125 properties.

The main areas of the role will include:

• Arranging and performing routine inspections
• Pre-tenancy checks
• Dealing with maintenance contractors to obtain quotes and arrange approved works
• Ensuring the managed portfolio is compliant with all current legislation & maintaining accurate maintenance records via an MRI software
• Liaisingith landlords, tenants and contractors
• Handling dilapidations and deposit release

You will possess excellent customer service skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail always at the forefront.

An ability to work to tight deadlines is key and you will be comfortable prioritising your day. Empathy and patience will be expected when handling your clients and a team player supporting and working within a lettings team is essential,

Although team training and support is readily available to perform the role, a strong platform of experience using computers and IT skills including the use of Outlook & Excel is important.

Dependant on experience, a basic salary of £28,000 - £32,000 is offered with Monday to Friday working and remote infrequent Saturday morning cover to only handle emergency maintenance calls.

Please note that a driving licence and your own car is required to perform some of the duties of the role.
