Job Role: Residential and BTL Underwriter
Location: Remote

Are you a seasoned Mortgage Underwriter with a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a meticulous eye for detail? We are currently seeking talented individuals to join our clients dynamic team in a role that plays a crucial part in the mortgage application process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage and process mortgage applications from initial receipt to the issuance of mortgage offers, ensuring a seamless and smooth experience for our valued customers.

• Collaborate closely with mortgage intermediaries, showcasing excellent communication skills that reflect our commitment to excellence in every interaction.

• Utilise your expertise against the Society lending policy to make customer-driven offers.

• Thrive in a culture of continuous improvement, contributing insights into products and mortgage cases.

Requirements:

• Recent Underwriting experience, including holding a mandate.

• Experience in manual assessment of mortgage lending.

• Full CeMap qualification, preferred but not essential.

• Strong communication skills.

• Proactive and positive attitude with a keen eye for detail and the ability to think outside the box.
