Resident Support Worker

Your new role
Residential Childcare Workers advocate proactively for each young person's needs, rights and views and ensure that these are met. They also make certain that each young person's individuality, difference and diversity are always appreciated and that our young people are provided with equal opportunities and are not discriminated against.

What you'll need to succeed
Minimum of 6 months residential childcare experience
Full Rights to Work in UK (NO sponsorship available)
Full UK driving licence & own car
Be able to commit long term to the care of these vulnerable children
Passion, empathy & Patience

What you'll get in return

Consequently, they work closely with all staff to identify their individual training needs and provide a supported programme to encourage professional development.  All staff will undergo therapeutic modular training in order to work with the children within our values model and give you the confidence to fully embrace your role as a care giver and have positive effects on the young people.  For the first six months you will be closely supervised and supported to work through an industry standard induction programme, the foundation for your probation period.
