Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver high-quality Religious Studies lessons to students across different key stages, ensuring differentiation and progression in learning.

- Inspire and motivate students to explore and critically engage with religious beliefs, practices, and contemporary issues.

- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and respected.

- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic and personal development.

- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the wider ethos and development of the Religious Studies department and the school community.

Requirements:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

- Specialism in Religious Studies or a related subject area.

- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Religious Studies.

- Ability to plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all students.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.

- Commitment to promoting the spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development of students.
