Relationship Manager - Real Estate.
  • Location: London, Hybrid working
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Salary: £80-£90k per annum

Our established banking client is currently seeking an experienced Banking Relationship Manager with a strategic mindset and a strong background in the UK real estate market. The successful candidate will be responsible for organic growth of a warm customer base and will inherit a portfolio of established customers from the get- go. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a real estate finance role within a financial institution.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Implement strategic objectives for optimising income and loan growth in line with annual budgets and targets.
  • Evaluate real estate lending propositions, exercising sound banking judgement to manage credit risk and achieve satisfactory returns.
  • Develop and implement an annual marketing strategy to maintain and expand client relationships.
  • Manage client relationships within your portfolio, ensuring first-class professional service.
  • Liaise with other departments, particularly the Credit Unit, to ensure smooth transaction completion.
  • Stay informed about trends and developments within the real estate finance market and regulatory environment.
  • Assist and oversee junior members, providing advice, resolving problems, and reporting to the Head of Real Estate Finance.
  • Authorise payment instructions within personal signature limits and uphold the values and behaviours of the organisation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a real estate finance role within a financial institution.
  • Extensive knowledge of the UK real estate market, including residential and commercial sectors.
  • Proficient in banking products including deposits, treasury instruments, foreign exchange, and credit products.
  • Analytical skills for assessing the commercial viability of lending propositions.
  • High level of personal impact with the ability to influence others and work effectively in a team.
