A leading Lloyd's Managing Agency have a new opening for a Reinsurance Treaty Claims Adjuster. You will be handling Property and Casualty Treaty Reinsurance claims, from first advice through to settlement.

Prior Treaty RI claims handling experience is desirable, but our client would consider Claims Adjusters who would like to move into the world of reinsurance. Excellent training and long term career opportunities are on offer. This will be a hybrid role.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for determining coverage, setting reserves and settlement of claims in the role of Claims Agreement Party for various classes of business, predominantly Property Treaty.
Liaising with co-insuring Syndicates, companies and claims bureau on large or contentious claims (including issuing market circulars)
Assigning, managing, controlling and liaising with relevant service providers during the life of a claim (including lawyers, loss adjusters, third party administrators)???????Building and maintaining relationships with brokers, adjusters, agents, coverholders, TPA's and other service providers, dealing with them in an efficient, polite and professional manner.
