Regulatory Accountant - Part Time - Home Based

Part Time Regulatory Accountant 
Fully remote - 2-3 days per week
Salary circa £60,000 FTE

We are looking for a professional and motivated Management Accountant who has experience working as a sole accountant in a FCA regulated environment,

This is a fully remote and part time role, ideally 2 or 3 days per week.

Role responsibilities:

• Sole responsibility for all aspects of the accounts function including full production of the monthly Management Accounts.
• Forward forecasting and management of the Firm’s capital and liquidity in respect of FCA regulatory requirements.
• Preparing monthly FCA monitoring data and quarterly regulatory financial returns in conjunction with Compliance.
• Being part of the Firm’s ICARA team: Providing financial data for the Firm’s ICARA process.
• Running detailed three-year forecasts for regulatory business plans.
• Management of the annual external audit and corporate tax returns.
• Working with Compliance to complete the annual FCA audit requirements.
• Reviewing and evolving existing finance processes, ensuring that appropriate systems and controls are in place and that policy and procedure documents are maintained.
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and to accommodate increased business activity.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of FCA RegData, Sage 50 Accounts, Microsoft Office 365 & OneDrive, MS Teams.
• Experienced in a sole accountant role.
• Experienced in FCA regulatory financial reporting.
• Knowledge and experience of FCA CASS: Client Assets would be advantageous.
