Registered Mental Health Nurse Band 6 for Recovery Ward

Location: Oxford
Hours: Monday to Friday 9- - 27.5 hours per week.

Salary: £28 per hour for day shifts.

This Job is a band 6 RMN to work in Oxford on a Medium Secure rehabilitation ward.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This will be for a line of work for initially 3 months which is likely to be extended.

As a member of the nursing team, you are expected to demonstrate attitudinal competences through a professional, approachable, and helpful manner towards clients, their families and carers, visitors and colleagues throughout the organisation. You are also expected to actively support high standards of care delivery and challenge poor practice should you find it.

Clinical Skills and Knowledge
* Engage proactively engagement with clients and their families/carers/significant others to build positive working alliances.
* Work alongside clients and their families/carers/significant others.
* Assess needs embracing the wishes of the client in the acute patient setting.
* Make a systematic and comprehensive assessment/ re-assessment of client need within the CPA framework to take account of all aspects of the client's life, including.
