Do you have experience managing in a social care setting or supporting young adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour? We are looking for passionate individuals who are determined about helping people to lead and enjoy their lives. We are recruiting for a range of Registered Managers vacancies across Manchester! If you are looking for a role which has a vast amount of career progression, this role is for you. You will receive support from your area Director as you settle into the team and our leadership development programme will be available to support you in developing your skills as you grow in your new role. Salary £45000 + Bonus (open for discussion with candidate if appointed)

About the role:

  • As the Manager, your primary role will be to ensure the health and well-being of our supported individuals and the staff team and ensure that they are supported at every opportunity.
  • We aim to promote the independence of all our service users so that they can reach their full potential.
  • Ensuring that the service is run in an efficient and responsible manner
  • Effective management of financial performance
  • Making sure that all reports are accurately written and up to date
  • Potential to become Head of Care (current plan to open similar services within Greater Manchester over the next 5 years)

What we look for:

  • We ask that you have experience working in a similar setting (working with service users with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour).
  • You may be a Deputy Manager looking for your next step or have already been an experienced Service Manager looking for a new challenge. You may have come from a supported living or residential background
  • We look for individuals who hold a NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
  • Level 4 & 5 in management are desirable but not essential. Support for Level 4 and 5 is available.
  • You'll have strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexible - meaning you are happy to work on a shift basis, and, where required, to be on call
