Registered Manager - Boutique Residential Home - Older People

You’ll love this role if you’re a Registered Manager who loves delivering bespoke, client-centric care services and wants a small service to oversee and excel in. I’m looking for an experienced Registered Manager to work in a small care home run by a charity solely for the benefit of the people that live there. They answer to their residents not shareholders and so delivery of quality-focused care services is at the forefront of what they do. And you’ll have plenty of support from a well-staffed and structured team.

They can offer the Registered Manager a salary of £37,00 - £39,000, good benefits package and great working conditions.

The Registered Manager role

• As the Registered Manager you’ll be responsible for the overall running of a care home for older people. This is quite a unique home with a small capacity, giving it a really homely feel and enabling you and the care team to deliver a service that feels really bespoke and personalised.
• You’ll be responsible for ensuring that CQC requirements are met, taking the lead on all Health and Safety matters, and ensuring the home complies with all its legal requirements.
• You’ll lead the staff to deliver excellence, working cohesively as a team and to develop their skills
• You’ll lead and promote the charity’s philosophy, values, aims, and approach to care.
• Provide regular reports and updates on quality monitoring to the board.

What we’re looking for;

• Somebody who has worked as a Registered Manager with experience of elderly care and has excellent knowledge of CQC standards.
• Ideally you’ll have worked in a residential care home setting previously
• Good Leader off staff, and able to work as part of the team.
• QCF5 / NVQ 4 in health and social care
• Commutable to Brentwood
• Ability to partake in the on-call rota (1 in 3 weeks)
