Trident Healthcare Solutions are currently supporting a leading private hospital provide high quality healthcare across 39 hospitals and 33 clinics in the UK.

We are looking to speak to Band 5 Ward Nurses who want to join a dynamic and forward-thinking nursing team and will work as part of Surgical Nursing team with post-operative patients. The successful candidate will look after pre and post op surgical patients from a variety of specialities. These include major orthopaedics, urology, gynaecology, general and cardiothoracic & cardiology.

This is a permanent full time position working long days, nights and weekends on a rota basis
Shifts pattern over 7 days per week [ 07:00am - 19.30 and 19:00 - 07:30 am ]
Notes: Need to have experience working in a surgical setting. Ideally experience in Breast, Urology, General, Upper GI, ENT, Orthopaedics & Gynaecology.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • You will support in assessing patient’s health and well-being across a complex and changing case-load.
  • Assist in the delivery of care to meet the individual's health and well-being needs.
  • Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information.
  • Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others.
  • Promote best practice in health and safety and security.
  • Assist in maintaining and developing services.

What experience will you hold?

  • You will be a Registered Nurse.
  • Be used to working in teams with minimum supervision.
  • Experience of working in Surgical or Ortho.
  • Competence across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through state registration.
  • Excellent communication skills
