Registered Manager, Salary: £35,000 - £45,000, Location: Leytonstone

Our client is a well-established social care provider offering services to children between 6-18yrs.

Our client is looking for a Registered Manager or a care manager prepared to get fully ofsted registered.

Duties:

  • To manage the day to day running of the children home and ensure that it meets the expectations and standards as set out in its Statement of Purpose.
  • To safeguard and promote the welfare of children and ensure that the home remains fully compliant.
  • Perform the role of Designated Safeguarding Lead, acting as a source of advice on child protection matters and for coordinating action within the home.
  • Ensuring that each child has a care plan which reflects his / her care, education, social, emotional, cultural, therapeutic and health needs and that this plan is regularly reviewed.
  • Allocating a Key Worker for each child with the principal responsibility of implementing each child's care plan

Must have experience working with children and all the relevant qualifications.

This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure check and requires the post holder to successfully register with Ofsted as the Registered Manager of the specific home - this is a pre-requisite of the role.
