Regional Sales Manager – Food Service & Retail
Location: North of England and Scotland
£40,000 - £45,000 + Bonus and Car allowance + Benefits
Elevation Recruitment are delighted to be working exclusively with this leading distributor of steel Kitchenware and cutlery to recruit a Regional Sales Manager to manage and grow the North and Scotland. Our client are regarded as one of Europe’s largest suppliers of Cutlery, Kitchen Knives, Steak and Buffet Utensils into some of the most prestigious Hospitality and Retailer brands in the world.
This role requires a dynamic individual with proven sales experience, particularly within the Food Service and/or Retail sector.
The primary focus will be to drive sales growth across an established account base of Food Service Distribution partners and leading cookware retailers.
About the role:
- You will develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory, cultivating strong relationships with key decision-makers within independent retailers and food service distributors, including purchasing managers, chefs, and sales representatives.
- Identify and prioritise key accounts, both independent retailers and distributors, based on their potential for growth and alignment with the company's objectives.
- Regularly visit existing and prospective clients to maintain relationships, introduce new products, and negotiate contracts.
- Drive sales by actively prospecting for new business opportunities and converting leads into accounts.
- Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our products.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments related to kitchen knives, cutlery, and utensils
What we are looking for:
- Proven track record of success in sales roles, preferably within the independent retail or food service industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory and occasionally attend industry events or trade shows.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales tools.
