Working at Chelson Meadow Recycling Centre on a rotation.

Helping members of the public use the facility.

Role outcomes

To assist members of the public in with the correct disposal of their waste materials in accordance with Health & Safety guidelines and Codes of Practice. (45%)

Ensure the HWRC safely operates in accordance with Health & Safety policies. (30%)

Responsible for cleaning locations where spillages have taken place and ensuring working areas are left clean and tidy. (10%)

Responsible for the safe manual handling of materials, including hazardous substances such as asbestos. (10%)

Ensure customer payment transaction processes are undertaken for chargeable materials. (5%
