A fantastic opportunity with an award-winning business based in Hatfield, who are looking to recruit a part-time RECEPTIONIST to work Thursdays and Fridays on a 12 month fixed term contract.

The ideal candidate will have previous receptionist and administrative skills, excellent communication skills and be flexible to accommodate the businesses requirements.



SALARY & BENEFITS

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To welcome visitors when they arrive at head office.
  • Assist where required to ensure all visitors/contractors have correctly signed in/out.
  • Answer incoming calls & ensure all calls are vetted prior to being forward to the appropriate department.
  • Take messages and distribute to relevant departments.
  • Assist customers with general enquiries.
  • Prepare the welcome board with visitor’s names/company when they are visiting head office.
  • Check the mailbox and frank internal post for collection each day.
  • Distribute post daily to relevant managers or departments.
  • Receive/sign for deliveries and notify appropriate employees.
  • Oversee the upkeeping and ordering of stationary supplies.
  • Organise company events including obtaining quotes for transport, venues, additional entertainment ideas, manage attendees and inform staff on event details.
  • Arrange lunches & beverages for visitors or Senior Management Meetings.
  • Assist the business with all general administration requirements when required.
  • Assist with any tasks, when requested that can reasonably be completed whilst in the reception area during quiet periods.
