Reception Class Teacher - St Athan

An Estyn rated 'Excellent' School in St Athan, Vale of Glamorgan is looking for an ambitious Reception Teacher to join them on a long term basis in September.

This school has a strong emphasis on working collectively to deliver a well rounded education, whilst encouraging imagination and independence. This is a two form entry school who are able to support ECT's looking to take the next step in their careers.

The successful candidate will be planning and delivering lessons to a Reception Class in addition to working collaboratively with the other Early Years Teacher to deliver an inspiring and creative curriculum across the Nursery.

This will be a full time position for the remainder of the academic year. Working hours will be 8:30 - 15:30, Salaries will be in accordance to MPS.

Criteria

  • PGCE or equivalent with QTS
  • Excellent Teaching References
  • Successful track record of improving pupils performance
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police check
