Our client is looking for an experienced, self-motivated and driven individual to join our Rapid Prototyping (RP) Projects Department. The RP Project Coordinator is the bridge between sales, production, customers and sub-contract suppliers. He/she will provide technical advice, quotations, capacity and schedule information to assist customers in achieving their product requirements and deadlines.

The successful candidate will need excellent communication skills, computer literacy and a sound engineering background. Commercial awareness and an ability to keep a level head under pressure is also important as it is a very busy and demanding department. It will be more than likely that his/her background will be manufacturing or engineering with some experience in CNC machining a very useful addition.

To assist customers in achieving their goals whilst at the same time ensuring the business achieves its sales and production targets. Liaison with customers and decision makers to win business and develop strong relationships. The role is office-based but will also involve external visits to other group companies and customers.

Essential Experience:

- Previous project management experience

- Interest in 3D printing processes

- Clear and concise communication in both written and verbal form with excellent people management and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of CNC machine processes

- And awareness of the scheduling capacity on a day to day basis and promoting other services to customers to fulfil their need and increase our sales

Desirable

- CAD knowledge (Mini Magics, Solidworks, CATIA and Spaceclaim)

- Can read 2D engineering drawings VACANCY

Other requirements

- Manufacturing and/or engineering background

- Excellent computer literacy

- Good team worker

- Excellent timekeeping and reliability

- Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and benefits package.

The standard hours of work are 8.00 am to 4.30 pm, Monday to Friday with an hour lunch break. This equates to a 37½-hour week.
