Location: Chesterfield
Shifts: Monday - Friday
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
Metalis are working with a Global Development Business to support on their R&D Engineering Role. This is a crucial role for the business which will support in the development of new product and materials.
You will support in Technical Projects using your mechanical expertise and materials knowledge to deliver advancements in their product offering.
The Role:
- Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, hitting challenging briefs.
- Developing innovative engineering solutions.
- Work cross-functionally with all departments including design, manufacturing & quality.
- Working in state of the art research facilities to conduct experiments and analyse results.
- Stay up to date with current industry trends and spot opportunities.
- Use of CAD modelling software such as Autodesk Inventor.
- Meeting with and qualifying customer briefs.
Shifts & Salary:
- £30,000 - £40,000 Dependant on Experience
- Permanent Opportunity
- Mon - Fri.
- Based within a commutable distance to Chesterfield
- There will be NO relocation for this job role
Ideal Experience:
- Knowledge Autodesk Inventor or other parametric softwares.
- Clear communicator able to explain complex ideas.
- Excellent analytical skills with clear decision making ability.
- Previous experience working in a Mechanical, Ceramics or Refractory business.
- Knowledge of Machine shop principles.
