Quotes & Tenders Specialist

Based in Watford, Hertfordshire, our client is looking for a Quotes & Tenders Specialist on a permanent, hybrid-working basis with 3 days required in the office per week.

This job would suit someone with previous experience in a similar role and industry and with fluency in Dutch. They will be responsible for researching and understanding individual pre-qualification and tender requirements in respect of the submissions being made to ensure that they're accurate, fully compliant and the deadlines are successfully met.

The company has exciting growth plans over the next 12 months as they sell globally so exciting times for expansion.

The successful individual will be fluent in English and Dutch, with strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written. Good computer literacy and presentation skills are essential. SAP experience is also highly desired, but not essential.

Job responsibilities:

• Coordinate preparation of quotes in accordance with customer requests for quotes ensuring all information is correct.
• Maintain a library of frequently used documents and standard responses.
• Review all tender adverts for new business. Forward company related adverts to account manager to see if we will do a submission.
• Manage the approval flow of open quotes to ensure no bottlenecks are found and customers get their quotes in a timely manner to high quality.
• Ensuring compliant processes and adherence to pricing policy
• Coordinate high quality of tender submission in a timely manner.
• Download/upload tender documents via procurement portals managing the approval process before tender submission.
• Liaise with the Commercial teams to meet overall objectives tenders.
• Undertake and complete technical/compliance information to accompany tender bids and responses to expressions of interest.
• Liaise with colleagues to gather supportive data and work information.
• Assist with the production of new documentation and templates where appropriate.
