Job Description Intersect Global is proud to be partnering with a well-recognized main contractor in the Reading area.

The company boasts a low turnover of staff as well as great training and development programmes and opportuniutes for the team. This company has a focus predominately on Healthcare and Commercial projects and has a strong pipeline of work throughout 2024 & 2025

Due to growth within the business, they are now searching for a Project Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial team on a newly built healthcare scheme in the heart of Reading

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for leading the majority of packages valued at £17m. Reporting into the Managing Quantity Surveyor, the Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of the project.

The Role;

• Managing various build packages across the project from preconstruction to final accounts

• Managing client variations and meeting with clients.

• Cost reports and final accounting various build packages.

• Supporting the wider project Team.

Experience Required

• Degree qualified with either BSc Quantity Surveying

• Minimum of 3+ years of Main Contracting experience

• Thorough working knowledge of NEC Contracts

• Experience in managing the full lifecycle of various build packages from pre-construction to final accounts.

• Based in a commutable distance from Reading
