Quantity Surveyor
Reading / Remote

Company client is recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor for our client who are based in Reading, this role offers an 18 month Inside of IR35 contract and benefits from 90% remote working.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop project procurement strategies and tender documentation.
* Manage record keeping and change management of the contract.
* Manage the contractor incentive model and recommend any pain/gain share.
* Support the assessment and settlement of contractor claims.
* Agree on final accounts with the contractor and internal stakeholders.
* Provide expert advice and guidance to the Project Team and Supply Chain.
* Support the formal dispute resolution process and contract close out strategy.
* Prepare specifications including the scope of works.
* Develop business cases and feasibility studies during project initiation.
* Provide input into investment peer reviews.
* Champion best practice to promote the Supply Chain function.
* Ensure adherence to Supply Chain processes, tools, and systems.

Essential Skills and Experience:

* End-to-end knowledge on the pre-contract side.
* Public procurement experience.
* Strong Quantity Surveying background.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

* Construction experience is highly desirable.

The nature of this opportunity means that you will be required to be Security Cleared prior to appointment so you must meet all the eligibility criteria to obtain UK Security Clearance.
