Role Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Newbury / Manchester / London( TBC)

IR35: Inside, PAYE

Hours: Full Time Work Package (37.5 hours per week – Mon to Fri)

Pay rate: £300 per day

Description:

The objective is to ensure agreed costs represent best practice and instructed scope by identifying opportunities across the business when it comes to Hardware, Software, Services and Design. Ensuring claimed items are matched against required Measure of Merit as represented within instructed detail. QS will Implement stringent cost control measures at key points throughout the lifecycle of a mobile site delivery to ensure supplier purchase orders align to the work undertaken on site. QS will be required to ensure Final Account Costs are reconciled with suppliers, ensuring any disputed costs are resolved in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.

Who are we looking for?

• Recognised Qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent demonstrable experience in similar field.

• Experience of Mobile Network Operations and Deployment processes with particular attention to Active equipment and Installation Services and Passive Infrastructure deployments.

• Considerable depth of experience in Finance /Commercial analysis related to mobile cell site deployment and the ability to create, understand, and maintain complex Excel workbooks.

• Excellent stakeholder management. Ability to engage, negotiate, adapt, and drive groups and individuals towards successful outcomes both internally and externally.

• Strong collaboration skills with a pragmatic approach.

• To be objective but with a fair and reasonable approach.

• Specific experience with Mobile Telecommunications, Electrical, Electronic Engineering

• Ability to read and understand all aspects of detailed Mobile Telecom Design Drawings

• A collaborator but with the ability to work in isolation as required.
