Technical Network have partnered with a world leader in the innovation and manufacturer of high-Nickel, high performance alloys. They are on the hunt for a Quality Technician for an agile and diverse support role essential to the success of the Quality department. The role encompasses the key functions of the Quality Management System, Certification, Projects, and Manufacturing Planning.

Responsibilities involved:
  • Perform quality assurance tasks to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Identify and address non-conformances in products or processes and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct internal audits to evaluate and improve quality management systems.
  • Utilise testing background in ISO 17025 to perform quality testing and analysis.
  • Create, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), procedures, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), project documents, qualification records, and instructions.
  • Co-ordinate and monitor eyesight testing for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) personnel to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot quality issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Document and communicate quality metrics and performance data to stakeholders.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance quality management skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in quality assurance and improvement roles within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 17025 and quality management principles
  • Certification in Quality Management or related field is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented and organised with a focus on continuous improvement.
