Job Title: Quality Assurance Officer / Quality Manager

Are you passionate about ensuring high standards and quality in construction projects? Do you thrive in a role where you can make a positive impact on residents' lives? We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Officer to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of ensuring the quality of works on construction schemes delivered by our team.
  • Provide detailed reports and information on the progress, quality, and handover of major works projects.
  • Ensure compliance with Scheme Quality Plans and respond promptly to technical and quality matters raised by stakeholders.
  • Conduct audits to ensure projects meet quality standards, specifications, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with team members to address technical issues, quality concerns, and compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Conduct site inspections, record observations, and report findings accurately.
  • Attend pre-contract and progress meetings, offering professional insights and recommendations.
  • Identify and address communication gaps between contractors and residents, ensuring effective collaboration.
  • Provide technical advice and support, promoting collaborative processes for project inspection and completion.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including residents and local authorities.

General Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols for all project activities.
  • Utilize IT systems for data management and communication, maintaining information security.
  • Stay updated on relevant legislation and statutory requirements.
  • Encourage innovation and continuous improvement in project delivery.
  • Represent the organization at resident meetings and effectively communicate project impacts.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in construction quality assurance or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of building regulations, British Standards, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a team environment.
