Quality Inspector

We are currently seeking a dedicated Quality Control Inspector to support our quality function. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely and accurate inspection of incoming goods required for use in the company’s assembly departments, ensuring compliance with company procedures.

• Conduct stage inspection of electrical sub-assemblies and first-off inspections, recording and reporting results accurately.
• Assist with assembly and test procedures as required.
• Maintain adherence to relevant company quality standards and guidelines.
• Engage in other quality control related activities within known capability as and when required.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings is essential.
• Previous experience in inspection and quality control within an engineering/small batch assembly environment is preferred.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
• Sound knowledge of mechanical and optical measurement instrumentation is desirable.
• Familiarity with BS EN ISO9001 quality standard.
• Basic computer data entry skills are an advantage, though full training will be provided.
