Citrus Recruit are excited to be working in partnership with a leading automotive company, recruiting for an experienced Quality Control Inspector to be based in Coleshill.  
 
The company have rapidly grown over the last few years, this role is a pivotal role where you will be ensuring the highest standards of quality in operations. You will be monitoring inbound goods and components as well as overseeing the in-process quality control of assembles, you’ll be using state-of-the-art metrology equipment to uphold standards.
 
The role will involve regular contact with customers and other team members, we are looking for a confident individual who can adhere to instruction, policies, protocols and other provisions of the quality management system of the business, whilst ensuring that proper recordkeeping is maintained.
 
This office-based opportunity is available for an immediate start, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact from day one.
 
Responsibilities & day to day duties
As a Quality Control Inspector you will be responsible for:
  • Conducting detailed inspections of machined components and assemblies to ensure they meet specified standards.
  • Documenting inspection results and maintaining detailed records of all quality checks.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address any quality concerns or deviations from established standards.
  • Participating in root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
  • Handling measurement samples for storage and archiving.
  • Ensuring that measurement equipment is maintained and within calibration.
Skills & experience required.
  • Experience in a Quality Control role within the automotive industry
  • Must be able to use engineering measuring tools, including verniers, micrometres, gauges, CMM and FARO arm amongst others.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic engineering/ manufacturing background
  • Excellent attention to detail
