Our client has an opportunity for a Quality Auditor

to join their Quality and Risk team in Cardiff. The full-time Quality Auditor / Quality Assistant hybrid role comes with a salary of £28k and excellent benefits.

Key Highlights:

  • Conduct comprehensive audits across various domains including compliance, operations, and quality management, adhering to standards such as Lexcel, ISO 9001, and Money Laundering Regulation.
  • Spearhead the development and execution of the audit program, ensuring top-tier standards of internal controls and operational efficiency.
  • Generate in-depth audit reports summarising reviewed functions, evaluating the efficacy of internal controls, and identifying areas for enhancement.
  • Play a key role in advancing the operational efficiency of the Quality and Risk Department, including managing the internal audit process and maintaining Quality Management System documentation.
  • Collaborate extensively with departments firm-wide to maintain and exceed quality and regulatory standards, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated skills in organisation, IT, and time management, with a proven track record of delivering outstanding work under tight deadlines.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to establish strong relationships at all organisational levels.
  • A sharp analytical thinker with the ability to make sound judgments based on detailed observations and supporting information, possessing an eye for detail and a systematic approach.
  • Preferably experienced with ISO 9001 and Lexcel; holding an internal auditing/quality qualification is an asset.
  • An understanding of the legal industry is a plus but not a requirement.
