Quality Assurance Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently partnered with a leading manufacturer in Scunthorpe and is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their business.

The business is highly successful supplying bespoke products and this role will be responsible for organising and coordinating all quality assurance processes. The role requirement covers the entire business from supplier to customer.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Engineer include:

• Product compliance and act as a contact for this purpose.
• Coordination certification and documentation of the Management System.
• Supervising internal audits conducting supplier audits and resolving any shortfalls.
• Lead training development for internal staff for all process/Quality Assurance issues
• Creation of quality documentation
• Monitoring project quality assurance projects.
• Initiate and supervise improvement projects, both internally and with our suppliers
• Supervising the PPAP process.
• Develop and maintain internal quality performance data including reporting.
• Lead / Project manage production quality improvements.
• Develop/Improve QA in all processes ensuring right first time
• Control of nonconforming materials returned from customers/Internally.
• Lead, mentor, facilitate and train production individuals and teams on QA, procedures, improvement techniques, methods and processes.
• Plan and complete internal audits for ISO accreditations
• Resolve/investigate internal manufacturing issues using data
• Implement containment/Permanent corrective actions
• Disposition of materials
• Raising quality alerts

We are keen to speak to Quality Assurance Engineers with the following skills:

• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Standards
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance tools 8D processes, DFMEA, PFMEA
• Certified Auditor
• Ideally, hold a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and have a good understanding of CI activities 
• Strong communication skills
