We are currently seeking a quality and Production Technician to join a state of the art automotive facility.

About The Role:

As a Quality and Production Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in the Manufacturing processes.
You will work closely with our production team to maintain and improve product quality, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and uphold our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

" Act as a substitute for the Supplier Development Engineer when necessary.
" Create visual quality alerts within the supply chain to aid the production team in enhancing quality during the build process, including SCARs.
" Collect quality data to drive continuous improvement initiatives independently.
" Foster a culture of quality assurance, integrating quality into the supply chain.
" Investigate quality issues, determine root causes, and initiate appropriate corrective actions, ensuring resolution.
" Provide assistance to suppliers as needed.
" Attend regular quality meetings with representatives from relevant departments to facilitate Material Review Board (MRB) decisions for both internal and external reject components.
" Engage in continuous training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
" Contribute to achieving and upholding high health and safety standards, performing all duties in compliance with Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications and requirements:

" HNC / BTEC in Engineering is advantageous.
" Previous experience in quality assurance or production roles, preferably in the automotive industry.
" Understanding of the manufacturing process
" Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate inspections and tests.
" Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to conduct root cause analysis.
" Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
" Commitment to upholding safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
" Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
