Purchase Ledger Supervisor

Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger Team Leader / Supervisor? Can you guide and mentor a good sized team? Do you want to work for one of the most sought after employers in Manchester?

Please note that you need to be a driver for this role as will spend time across two sites - Warrington and Wythenshawe.

About You

• You'll have a strong background in Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable and will understand and be capable of managing the whole process.
• It's essential that you have a good understanding of debits & credits and the impact these make on the management accounts (P&L etc.)
• It's a vibrant and busy team so you'll need to be able to balance between getting to know them and getting your head down!
• Attention to detail is key; you'll need to get to grips with some arduous processes that are essential to the way the finance function works.
• You'll enjoy mentoring a team.
• It is essential that you can drive as you'll split your time across the Warrington and Wythenshawe offices on the days you're not working from home.

About The Job

• You'll join as Purchase Ledger Supervisor.
• You will be working in support of the Purchase Ledger Manager and will supervise a team of 12 across two sites.
• With your mentoring nature, you'll be the buffer between the team and the Manager, providing support and training where required.
• As well as setting the KPI's daily for your team, you'll be responsible for the payment process; approving templates on the bank and payment run approvals.
• You'll step up during periods of absence/holidays for the Purchase Ledger Manager.
