• Hourly rate Circa 18p/h
• Location: Camden Town, London NW1
• Job Type:  Temporary - 8 weeks (possibility of becoming a permanent role)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable professional to join a prestigious interior design firm. This role will ensure responsibility of day-to-day accounts payable, credit card and staff expense transactions for the UK companies, reporting directly to the Finance Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Post accounts payable related cash payments.
• Reconcile supplier statements regularly.
• Address invoice queries promptly, liaising with other departments and suppliers as necessary, and escalate issues where required.
• Set up new vendors in the accounting system accurately.
• Manage staff expenses processing and payment.
• Handle company credit cards, ensuring transactions are processed promptly and all receipts are collected from cardholders.
• Maintain the finance mailbox and ensure all communications are managed effectively.

About you:

• Good IT skills, including proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, particularly during month-end.
• Capable of prioritising work and flexible enough to adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive approach to work, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
