We are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to be employed immediately on a permanent basis for an established manufacturing company in Dover.

You will need your own transportation for this role due to the location of the office.

This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to work in a small and friendly office environment and who has experience with managing a team that undertake purchase/sales ledger processes.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Checking purchases orders against invoices.
  • Posting ledger invoice to the in-house system.
  • Checking purchase orders against good received notes.
  • Posting and allocating cash to the ledger.
  • Allocating invoices on to the system.
  • Matching and reconciling invoices to payments made.
  • Preparing payment runs.
  • Undertaking credit card reconciliations.
  • Liaising with suppliers and internal departments.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3-5+ years purchase ledger experience.
  • To be proficient with Microsoft programmes (Excel).
  • Your own form of transport.
  • Great communication and able to work independently.
  • Experience managing other Purchase Ledger Clerks is desirable.
