Purchase Ledger Clerk Role Overview

NC Associates are working on a Purchase Ledger vacancy to join a growing north west based firm for their Chester based office. Due to continuous growth, they require a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their experienced team in providing accurate and timely processing of financial transactions for the firm in accordance with the firm’s procedures.

Purchase Ledger Clerk Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Ledger processing to include the Input, coding, scanning, and processing of invoices, (and disbursements).
  • Preparation of weekly payment runs and dealing with suppliers as appropriate.
  • Processing of expenses and company credit card transactions
  • Resolving ledger queries and sundry transaction requests.
  • Preparation of daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Ad hoc duties as required.

Purchase Ledger Clerk Experience Required

  • Positive self-starter who can work on own initiative.
  • Professional and courteous approach.
  • Numerate with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in order to deal with both internal and external relationships.
  • Proficient IT / Excel skills
