Purchase Ledger Clerk
Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to work on the Accounts Payable team for a fast paced and thriving wholesale company based in Huddersfield, HD2.
This is a progressive role reporting into the Finance Manager, where the successful candidate will take on a variety of purchase ledger duties inclusive of high volume invoice processing, payments, bank reconciliation etc. whilst having a main responsibility over the management of the key supplier relationships for the business. AAT Study support available for this position.
The successful candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience working within a high-volume purchase ledger role, possess solid communication skills and the ability to resolve complex queries in a professional and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Purchase Ledger account management of 3-4 key accounts
- Meeting & relationship building with these accounts
- High volume Invoice processing, payments & bank reconciliation for these accounts
- Query management
- Process improvement for these accounts
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
About you:
- Minimum of 3 years in high-volume accounts payable role
- Excellent MS Excel skills (VLOOKUPS & Pivot Tables)
- Tenacious & bubbly personality
- Prior experience of stakeholder management
- Solid communication skills
- Ability to travel to meet suppliers on site
- Previous customer service experience
This is a brand-new role within the company, so is a great opportunity to put your stamp on the role and make it your own! The Purchase Ledger Clerk (AP) will work Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm, with Fridays WFH after probation! Salary negotiable between £25k- £28k DOE.
