We are currently seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Accounts Clerk to join an existing team on a temporary basis to support the finance department during a busy period.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and record purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating financial records.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk.
  • Familiarity with Xero software is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Duration and Working Hours:

This is a temporary position for approximately 6 weeks, with a start date ASAP. The role is full-time, although part-time arrangements may be considered for suitable candidates.
