Are you a passionate Psychology graduate eager to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students? Join our dynamic team as a Psychology Graduate Learning Mentor based in Newham! This role offers a unique opportunity to work within our inclusion unit, supporting students in overcoming challenges, managing behavior, and thriving academically.

As a Psychology Graduate Learning Mentor, you'll be at the forefront of providing invaluable support to students in various aspects of their academic and personal development journey. Your responsibilities will include:

?? Offering one-on-one support and counseling to students within the inclusion unit, fostering a supportive and nurturing environment.

?? Managing challenging behavior effectively, employing psychological techniques and strategies to promote positive outcomes.

?? Providing guidance and mentorship to help students navigate through difficulties and develop coping mechanisms.

?? Assisting students with their transition back into mainstream classes after expulsion, ensuring a smooth and successful integration process.

�? Supporting students academically, helping them with their studies and providing additional resources as needed.

Requirements:

?? Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field.

?? Experience working with students with behavioral challenges or in a similar support role.

?? Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

?? Understanding of counseling techniques and strategies.

�? Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.

Location: Newham, London Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
