We are offering an opportunity for a Solicitor of at least 1 years PQE to join our leading team of property litigation lawyers. In this role, you can expect complex and high value work on behalf of household name national and international clients.

The Team

Our Firm has a strong team of dispute resolution lawyers work on a diverse range of complex challenges facing their clients. We focus on outcomes, not just process.

The Real Estate Disputes Team are known for their pragmatic approach and ability to offer alternative real estate dispute resolution methods and solutions to clients. We collaborate with other dispute resolution and non-contentious real estate specialists within the firm, to provide the highest quality advice on real estate disputes for our clients.

You'll provide advice to clients on risk/asset management at a pre-action stage as well as advising on the full spectrum of commercial and complex residential property related disputes, including mediations, arbitrations and contested litigation. We provide real estate disputes advice to commercial property institutions, banks, investment companies and high net worth individuals.

You will also be exposed to a wide variety of work and clients, with all members of the team having the opportunity to work across the full breadth of sectors and legal specialisms within real estate disputes. We consider that this diversity of experience not only results in a more varied and interesting working environment but ultimately helps our lawyers to develop a broader skillset and greater flexibility of approach.

Responsibilities

  2. Delivering Results: Achieve your personal objectives and be aware of how to focus your contribution to support the firm's overall aims. Plan, control and resource matters effectively, delegating where appropriate and monitor delivery.
  3. Growing our People: Actively contribute to the development of those you have responsibility for. Establish your standing as an 'expert' in your chosen area / sector. Identify and take advantage of opportunities broaden your technical / client experience.
  4. Developing our Business: Deepen your understanding of client needs and expectations, identify opportunities, build you own network and cross-refer work where appropriate.

What you'll need

  1. Relevant experience working on high quality commercial litigation in the High Court or before the leading arbitration bodies
  2. Be a strong team player, with excellent interpersonal skills
  3. Able to manage a complex and varied workload effectively
  4. Be self-motivated and willing to learn
  5. Must be a SRA registered lawyer
