This leading insurance and claims management company are seeking dedicated individuals to join their team as Property Claims Handlers (known as Adjusting Executives in-house).

The Role:

As a Property Claims Handler with Sedgwick, you will play a vital role in our highly successful Home Claims team. You'll have the opportunity to work both in-office and remotely, with flexibility tailored to your needs and agreed upon with your line manager.

Your responsibilities will include:
" Assisting in the handling of domestic claims, ensuring fair and accurate settlements for claims of varying complexities
" Maintaining positive relationships with customers and stakeholders to uphold the reputation of Sedgwick and our insurer clients
" Providing excellent customer service throughout the claim lifecycle
" Obtaining relevant qualifications (Cert CILA/Cert CII) within the first year, if not already certified
" Utilizing strong communication skills to liaise with customers and colleagues effectively
" Demonstrating competency in IT skills and maintaining electronic files to a high standard
" Collaborating with internal teams as needed to ensure efficient claims handling
" Managing correspondence and completing case inquiries under the direction of adjusters

Skills Required:
" Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach
" Claims/Insurance experience required
" Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
" Ability to adapt communication styles for customers with vulnerabilities
" Competency in IT skills and maintaining electronic files
" Willingness to collaborate and build effective working relationships
" Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently when required
" Commitment to accurate time recording and delivering technical competence
